How to represent functions in a flowchart?

I am defining some function in my Ansi C program (simple program). I do not know how to represent a function in a flowchart. Can anybody help me?

In the flowchart, the function can be any: a state, an action that occurs during the transition between states, etc. It all depends on how your flowchart is organized. I would recommend building your flowchart correctly, and then go back and add the function name to the description of everything that the function implements.
