The external window of the external screen of the iPhone application zooms in / out while working on the iPad

We are writing an iPhone application that supports an external display via an adapter with a 30-pin VGA connector when used on an iPhone 4 or iPad. This is not a universal application. My problem: when the application is running on the iPad, and the user zooms in on the application to fill the screen, everything that appears on the external display also doubles in size. I would like the external display not to zoom when the user presses the zoom in / out button on the iPad.

Does anyone know how to determine if the iPhone application will be enlarged on the iPad?

Can you get the size of the window / view displayed on the iPad that compensates for the current scale of the iPhone app?

When you launch your own iPhone application on an iPad, it runs as a simulator. Double size is managed by this system and is virtual. Nothing prevents this in the iphone application.
