Different URLs for the same resource cause SEO problems

Question

I use a structure similar to codeIgniter and Zend FW. So the URL structure is the same. Meaning /controller/action/etc....However, there are cases where different URLs display the same controller. This results in different URLs having (very similar) content and text.

For example, these two URLs display on the same page.

• / article / id / 646478
• / book / 754 / review /

I wonder; this will cause an SEO problem. Does anyone know how Google reacts to such cases?
