Does ASP.NET always apply the "ct100 $ ..." prefixes to element identifiers or in some cases optimizes it if the element is guaranteed to be unique in any case.
Recently, I saw assemblies that differ in the identifier prefixes used, one with prefixes and the other with not one, but both sources from the same source.
Can someone provide more detailed information about this, as well as the operation of INamingContainers and the generation of identifiers?
