Blackberry simulator with DNS exception

I am using the Blackberry app on a simulator. I use deviceside = true behind the url. However, when I run it now, it gives me a net.rim.device.cldc.io.dns.DNSException exception: DNS error

What happened? I am not modifying the code or anything else.

It is possible that the state of the computer on which this operation is performed has changed. For instance. in terms of connectivity (which explains the exception).
