From jpg to animated gif

I am desperate, I need to convert some jpg images to an animated gif.

I tried ffmpeg, but the result is of terrible quality.

I also tried imagemagick and the result looks great, but it weighs 511 KB !!

Can someone tell me what to use or how to use before applications to get the final animated gif with normal quality and normal weight for the gif?

As I said, I am desperate, I need to finish this as soon as possible :(
