Database Modeling: Delivery Rules

I am working on a web application such as e-commerce and must somehow handle the calculation of shipping costs. Some rules I found:

  • Free shipping
  • Free shipping with a minimum purchase
  • Free delivery within a specific geographic area
  • Flat rate shipping
  • Flat rate + fixed amount per product
  • Different rates depending on the speed of delivery (sent immediately and / or how soon he gets to the client).
  • Depending on height, width, depth, weight and delivery distance
  • Based on tariffs of various shippers

... etc.

Any suggestions for resolving this issue? I cannot be the first to come across this problem. Thank.
