ASP programmer thinking about learning PHP

Question

What is the best way to learn PHP when I am doing ASP / ASP.NET? I'm not sure if it's worth it, but it seems like so many projects are doing it.

What do you think? Has someone crossed the worlds? How did you do that?

I suspect that it can't hurt to find out about this, if only because of the growing popularity of solutions like WordPress, etc. in commercial space.
