I used XSLT for many years and tried to create medium-sized libraries (for example, 50 imported XSLT files). I found this difficult, perhaps because I did not have useful development tools. I now do not use XSLT files of more than a few hundred lines at all.
Are there widespread XSLT libraries? Are there any IDEs and tools that support building XSLT libraries (for example, the Eclipse and Maven analogues)? Or is there an XSLT application size limit?
