Searching for downloaded materials in Wordpress?

Is there any way to do this? I tried a couple of different search plugins and nobody seems to be doing this. I want the search to return media assets based on their description \ alt text.

this page http://codex.wordpress.org/Media_Library_SubPanel has all the answer you need. but you can click the tab mediaand click libraryand search in the upper right corner.
