Scala RIA with lift and

I'm curious what the “best” way to program RIA with Scala.

I am new to Scala and just wanted to know where to start learning. It seems obvious that for web applications, Lift is the perfect choice for combining with Scala. However, from what I have seen so far, Lift is really not the key to great visuals. Of course, there are hundreds of possible frameworks due to Java compatibility, but this is not very useful.

What would you recommend?

What is general setup?

Among others, I found a cappuccino, a very impressive base. http://www.scala-lang.org/node/7281 Cappuccino seems to be designed for Objective-J. This does not seem to be very compatible with me. But somehow they can work together. http://frothy.liftweb.net/

Of course, it all depends. Personally, I had no problems starting with Lift, although Id only used Scala in REPL before and only for some games to find out the syntax.
