International characters in a batch file

Question

Hi, I had problems writing a batch file, where I need to specify some file paths containing international characters (more precisely, the Norwegian letter "ø").

For example, a file name axporteføljedb.vbp(which looks normal in notepad) turns into axportef°ljedb.vbpa command line, after which the system continues to complain about what it does not find.

Any suggestions?
