I need a fairly simple format to use as metadata (title, creator, description and some keywords), and I thought I would use RSS 2.0 because of the prevalence of RSS tools.
But I noticed that the link element is required, while the source data that I have is not available (and will not) be available through the URL.
Is there any suitable thing besides using a “fake” URL?
