I would suggest creating a new class, not a subclassical queue, since a class of a queue with a limited length should not be skipped for code that might call the old queue method. There are many logical things that a queue can do if a click occurs during filling:
- Throw exception on click
- Wait for the item to be read.
- Delete oldest item
- Delete new item
