What are the Haar Pyramids?

I am trying to reproduce (part) of the work in this article: http://www.mit.edu/~kimo/publications/harmonization/

I cannot understand what they mean by the Haar Pyramids. I found all kinds of things on the Gaussian and Laplacian pyramids of the image, as well as on the Haar filters, but nowhere (outside of this article) I did not find anything called the "Haar Pyramid".

I am currently using the 2D Haar transform associated with the bottom of this page (slightly edited to work with my own image format): http://www.cs.ucf.edu/~mali/haar/
