Currency Validation Problem

Question

one of the checks I want is to make sure that the user does not enter an amount greater than the small SQL constraints (214,748.00). Below is my verification control, but it knocks out records that are less than this amount. for example, someone entered in 1821.00, and control limited it. Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong? Thank.

Compare Validator checks the datatype type before comparing the value. 1,821 is not a valid number. So you may have a mistake.
