How did you capture / generate an image from the IPreviewHandler COM protocol in WPF / C #?

I was wondering if it is possible to create an image (capture) of a ComImport object (e.g. Win7 PreviewHandler)?

I tried to use RenderTargetBitmap (on the parent control where ComImport is located), and also create WinFormHost and use the DrawToBitmap method. Both of them turned out to be useless, since they displayed only an empty frame.

Any help is appreciated!
