Is the ics format a good idea when dealing with several thousand events?

In our company, we have a php application to process our help tickets.

Now we are thinking of adding tickets through this php application to the ics (calendar) file so that meetings, meetings and to-do lists are together and, possibly, you can see and edit the client application (evolution, thunderbird ...) or mobile even from email phone.

Some professionals in the company have more than 2000 tickets per year, so I did a quick test: this means that the file is about 400 KB in size, and if I add even past tickets, we will start with a 2 MB file.

Without considering mobile phones (which have bandwidth problems), will it be too large for a regular email client? Will it take too long for the php ics parser to go through the file? Have you ever had such an experience?

Any processing time when analyzing any files is determined by the following factors:

1) The speed of reading a file. Based on the hard drives (and their locations) that store the file. 2) RAM, when a file is loaded into the memory of your server. 3) Processor - the raw data processing process may take some time, but a few MB is nothing, except when there are not a lot of tasks while reading data.
