Convert under-make file to create file?

Question

I need to convert sub-make files to make files, namely Windows C # sub-map files.

Sub files look like this:

include Windows.def 

solution = someSolution.sln

Can I save the subpattern file as ".make?" I apologize if I am vague, but I was looking for a topic and do not have much information.

I assume you are talking about "nmake" makefiles? I assume that you must first modify it to use the exclamation mark preceding the include declaration :

!include Windows.def
