The tight border of the current shape

I know

imshow ('myimage.png', 'border', 'tight');

will give a tight border around the image. But what if I already have an image? Is there a way to make it a tight border?

(1) Select the axis of the figure on which the image is displayed by clicking on the image.

(2) Enter in the command window

rigid axis
