Before I get the designation as cheating articles like:
Most of the answers on these pages point to html performance testing using firebug, YSlow, and so on. Loadrunner is cited, which is good, but what I need is a set of tools for testing the performance of php itself, to identify bottlenecks in the code.
This is the LAMP setting.
So maybe:
- Code Coverage Testing
- Lint for php?
- Something like valgrind for c, but for php
- any other tool to really lure PHP code and look for flaws or inefficiencies.
Currently, the best I have found for him may be JMeter, but I'm just starting to explore it.
All suggestions are appreciated!
