Clearing database entries

I am dealing with the need to store some payment card information. To meet PCI DSS requirements, we need to clear data from disks by not just deleting the file from the storage system, but also writing bytes with random data sequences to make data recovery more difficult.

I would like to be able to use the database for my storage needs (to increase concurrency and a simpler query), however I cannot find a way to clear individual records this way.

Are there any known methods for doing this?
