What is the best site to help you develop Android apps?

I cannot decide where I should use my encoding problems in Android. There is a stackoverflow, but only specific questions seem appropriate, while I'm really looking for somewhere to get mentoring, and where there are patients who are happy to take the time to really look at your code and help you identify problems.

Many forums that seemed likely subjects seem pretty inactive to me or seem to be related by one expert to hundreds of newbies.

So what would you recommend? I am open to sites not related to androids (of which I know a lot), if you think that they will have what I am looking for. And any other unclaimed resource sites.
