Avoid using the app on tablet devices

I am working on an android application that supports android versions 2.1 and 2.2. And I do not want my application to be installed on any of the Android tablets. Is there a way to achieve this in Android, as if we were making any changes to the application manifest file, something like that. Any help is much appreciated ... Or is there a way to prevent our application from getting into the tablet device market after we released the application. But it must be listed on the Android mobile phone market.

Depends on which devices you really do not want to support. What are your criteria? Big screen? In this case you can add

<supports-screens android:largeScreens="false" />

To the AndroidManifest.xml file. But actually it depends on what you are trying to block here. There is a thin line between the tablet and the phone - they work with the same OS and have the same capabilities as the ability to make phone calls. Think about which function you want to use as a criterion, and then find the value you want to use in the manifest file.

This whole answer is nonsense, I just keep it here for Dianna's comment, because it is the only voice of reason here. Bottom line - the tablet is an ordinary Android device, it will work with the same software.
