Combine arbitrary size partial images

Initial situation:

Using povray, I create 4 partial images of the scene.

The task to solve:

  • Combine 4 images programmatically.

What to consider:

  • Most partial images are NOT valid images and cannot be opened. For example, you can open the first partial image by showing a rectangle with the image in the upper left corner, and everything else is black. But the rest of the images contain only information about its area. We can say that these images are broken.
  • The output format is set with + F and can be PPM, PNG, uncompressed and compressed Targa. The correct solution can use any of these formats.
