To be true, after entering only the title of the question, I looked at DB indexing in the Wiki. Now I know something about indexing in general. But, nevertheless, I have some questions on MongoDB indexing.
What is indexing in MongoDB? What will this do if I index the collection? What can I do with indexing in MongoDB? Can I use it to search for specific data?
Can someone explain this using the following collection of documents in a collection in some MongoDB?
