Keytool and jarsigner tool

Question

I developed a Blackberry application that I downloaded to my BB device. But, as we know, without signing the application using RIM, we will not be able to run the application on the device. Is there a way that I can create a trial version of my application for several days and run it on the device for testing.

I have heard about the keytool and jarsigner tools. Can these tools help me launch the application on the device without signing the application? If yes, please give me steps on how to do this.

Steps for signing a java archive (.jar file).

• keytool:
  keytool -genkey -alias < > -keystore < key file > (http://docs.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/tools/solaris/keytool.html).

• java-:
  jarsigner -keystore < key file > -storepass < 1 > -keypass < 2 > -sigfile < .DSA.SF > -certs < java > < > (http://docs.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/tools/solaris/jarsigner.html).
