Package for Precompiled Accelerator Libraries (Ubuntu)

I am trying to find the right boost package that will also be compiled. (For Ubuntu Lucid 10.04)

I tried:

sudo apt-get install libboost-dev-all

I know that most of the boost is just a header, but it looks like I don't have lib files? I just got the files in / usr / include / boost /

Which package gives me library files? (e.g. / usr / lib / boost / or / usr / include / boost / lib /)? Or are they already installed and I just can't find them? I would rather not collect it myself from the source.

thank

See / usr / lib for files starting with 'libboost'.
