Project Build Commands in Eclipse with Sweave and R

  • Is there any role for menus Projectwhen working with StatET and Eclipse using Sweave and R?

  • If so, are there any training resources that explain how this might work?

  • Do these menus provide anything other than a makefile?

I'm interested in learning more about creating moderately complex Sweave / LaTeX / R projects. In particular, the menu Projecthas options Clean...and Build Automaticallythat intrigue me.
