How to use ASP.NET MVC 3 standard validation with a standard membership provider?

Question

Each example that I see about the new new unobtrusive jquery validation in MVC 3 shows a custom class (usually Person). Adding data annotations to this is simple, which really shows how cool the new validation support is.

But what about using it with the default membership system built into the standard web template? Has anyone "cracked" in an unobtrusive check? What should be done?
