Application error when NSMutableArray for plist

Question

I have NSMutableArray, called *favorites. This is an array NSStrings, and I want to write it to a file .plist.

When i call:

favPath = [[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@"Favorites" ofType:@"plist"];
[favorites writeToFile:favPath automatically:YES];

it fails with an exception type EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)and with an exception codeKERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x00000006

I included crashlog, Favorites.plist and the code snippet in which the method is called. Help would be much appreciated!
