UItableView sorted by date in sections (and persistence)

Question

I have several HistoryItems that contain ID, title and date. Date is the NSDate of the time it was added to the story before the second.

I currently have an NSArray of these objects, the last HistoryItem is added to the end of the NSArray.

How to make these elements displayed in the UItableView cell by date, the last of which is at the top, but also every day should have its own section.

I also need these HistoryItems to be constant between exiting and downloading applications, so should I just save the NSArray to a file or use CoreData?
