External HTML served through Sharepoint 2010

In sharepoint 2003 (and 2007, I believe), when I put the HTML file in a shared folder, I could visit its URL and view it as a website.

With Sharepoint 2010, the title of the contents of the "attachment" is sent, and I can no longer do this (the HTML file is loaded, not viewed).

I really want to make a microsite using the data from the Sharepoint 2010 list (consumed through AJAX and XML-RPC Sharepoint 2010), but obviously this makes it difficult. Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

(PS I need full-screen real estate for this microsite, so using HTML from sharepoint seems like a bad idea)
