A string that invokes the odfWeave-generated odt file, which is considered corrupted

I tried a odfWeavelittle, nice application. But at the very beginning, even I tried exactly as an example in the manual, I can not generate any file.

I searched for a bit inside the odt file and found the instruction inside content.xml, causing the problem, this is:

text:bullet-char="<U+25CF>"

what is the statement really? how can i fix this in R? Thank!

I had a similar problem with odfWeave, which was traced before the locale was not utf8 (see http://tolstoy.newcastle.edu.au/R/e10/help/10/05/4247.html ).

Sys.getlocale(), , R . , en_US.UTF-8.

Alternativley ( ) ;

basicStyles$wideBullet$bulletChar="\342\234\224"
