Silverlight has several charting components, some of the most popular free ones:

Visiblox - the free version supports the main types of charts, scaling, trackball and some other types of behavior, but with a watermark. The documentation is decent. A good choice if you need graphical charts or plan to build on top. See examples using this component .
AmCharts QuickCharts - A set of basic diagrams. The documentation is pretty simple. A good choice if you need the simplest charts. See examples using this component .
