Windows Azure site and ASP.NET MVC deployed on it?

Can I deploy an asp.net MVC site on a Windows Azure platform? I understand that we can deploy the WCF service, but what about a full site? Will this work? Will it scale (i.e. load balance)?

We have a project for development - a donation site that will be advertised a lot and get a lot of traffic. I want to try AZURE, but is it possible for AZURE to launch the full asp.net mvc site?

Yes - you just need to make sure that the MVC DLLs are copied to the bin folder and that the MVC project is added as a web role.
