Updating the application while working

Question

My application will be initially deployed with Windows Installer.

Key features of the solution I'm looking for include:

• Silence support when using the launch application (or automatic restart of the client)

• Easy Maintenance and Packaging Management Process

• Avoid complex settings or installation scripts

Do you have any ideas on how I can achieve this? Even if it means changing application code to support any idea.
