Choosing a custom tag using jQuery

Is there a way to use jQuery to select a tag <fb:like href="stackoverflow.com"></fb:like>?

You can avoid :in the selector, for example:

$("fb\\:like")

You can check it out here . Although ... I can not guarantee that this will work in every browser.
