SVN: a call to an svn object with the same name is already planned to be added

Question

Every time I update svn, I get the following error

Failed to add file path/to/file: object of the same name is already scheduled for addition

I tried to rename the file, delete it ... but the error still exists.

Which client are you using? For a “simple” svn client, check to see if any of these problems have been resolved:

cd /path/to/directory/with/suspected/duplicate
svn revert .
svn cleanup
svn update

TortoiseSVN, , : TortoiseSVN- > Revert, TortoiseSVN- > SVN.
