Easy / fast jQuery modal window

Question

Looking for an easy and fast jQuery modal window - that is, the jQuery UI modal interface seems big and looking for something easy?

Does anyone know of a lightweight jQuery Modal window that gives good / fast performance with ajax etc.?

My favorite easy modular plugin for 2013 is easyModal.js . It is only 1.87 KB, mined . This inspired leanModal.js, which is also brilliant.
