MySQL - Daylight Saving Time

Question

For some reason, when daylight saving time has come, one of my sites is automatically published at 12:00 at midnight, starting publication at 11:00 in the evening. Is there a way to set the MySQL server variable to just correctly change daylight saving time?

• Time understanding operating system
• whether timezone tables have been set for mysql - see "Filling timezone tables" at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/time-zone-support.html
• This time zone gives you problems. (There are dozens, maybe hundreds, of changes every year, somewhere in the world.)
