Dropbox and Xcode

I would like to start developing my cocoa application on two different machines. I'm not sure about the easiest way to achieve this, but have been considering using my folder with Dropbox. Will xcode be ok with this? Is this a general approach and does it work well? Is there some kind of common “bug” I should look for?

As mentioned above, I suggest using a version control system such as git .

Also, keep in mind that signing up for distribution of the app store may happen mysteriously when the project is inside the Dropbox directory. I made this mistake when I released Textual and kept on paying the price every time I cut the issue.

You really need to use a version control system, even if inside the Dropbox folder - git works well for this.

In my experience, Xcode works great with Dropbox. Just make sure that the project is not open in several places, since the Xcode settings will be saved for any computer on which the last object is closed (even if it is not the latest).
