I searched, trying to find an approximate date for standardizing CSS 3 and HTML 5 to no avail. Does anyone know when the W3C plans to upgrade standards or get pricing?
I believe that the official line is that it will be done when it is done. theres a huge amount of work still left to do on it.
The WhatWG FAQ page has some interesting information about this, at least for HTML5:
W3C , HTML5 , , 2010 . , , W3C, , , " ". W3C.
, , :
: ?.... , , , (, ). - ...., . .
, , , ... , IE6 , , , :)
, 2014 ...
It is planned to release a stable HTML5 recommendation by the end of 2014.
