IPhone Simulator Intermittent Congestion

Almost every time I use the iPhone Simulator, I get intermittent slowdowns. Everything works smoothly, and then the entire user interface randomly drops to 1-5 frames per second. Viewing clicks, animations and everything related to the user interface becomes sluggish for 2-10 seconds. Then suddenly he returns to normal life.

I have repeatedly searched for this problem and simply cannot find a solution. I assume there is a third-party extension / plugin that causes this slowdown, but I'm not sure how to debug this.

This applies to the last 4 SDK installations. Occurs on all simulators (iPhone, iPhone 4 and iPad). It happens in my applications, as well as in Apple applications (photos, Safari, settings) and even on the main screen.

This problem makes debugging / testing extremely annoying. Any guess what could be the problem?

I know it has been a while, but it looks like Xcode 4.2 fixed it forever.

Finished deleting everything in the folder ~/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator. With 3.0 days, he had really old folders. Maybe some kind of incompatibility, I'm not sure.

There have been no problems since.

EDIT : No, this is just a temporary fix. Still looking for a permanent solution.

: Core Location ? (GPS-)?

I saw the same behavior you are talking about when I turn on location tracking inside my simulated iPhone application.
