Failed to set actual device resolution in emulator

I am developing an application that I need to test on the Samsung I9000 with a resolution of 480 * 800. But when I try to create an AVD emulator with a resolution of 480 * 800, I get a very large resolution. How to get the screen resolution of the emulator similar to the device. I will wait for a valuable answer.

You can let the emulator scale itself to the actual size of the display if you run the emulator manually. Using Eclipse, you can achieve this by going to Window->Android SDK and AVD Manager, then select the device and click Start...on the pop-up window (Startup options), you just check the box Scale display to real sizeand set the screen size in inches and dpi. If you donโ€™t know that your inch of the monitor has fallen into a question mark ?, and another pop-up window will appear that helps you get the correct value. When all the values โ€‹โ€‹are set, just click Launchand it will be convenient for you to go.
