Purpose InstallRequiredSystemLibraries

Please explain what the purpose of this line is in CMakeLists.txt:

include (InstallRequiredSystemLibraries)

I see this line in CMake samples, but I can’t find a good explanation why I need it.

It includes Microsoft, distributed through the installer. For Linux, I have no idea.
