Endless scroll pattern without breaking the action "Find [text on page]"

Question

Any ideas / tips / answers on how to maintain browser functionality Find [text on page]when implementing Infinite Scroll, especially with text items (like a Facebook wall or a blog in which endless scrolling displays messages ...).

I cannot recall an event for onFind or the like. I think you could follow the keystroke, but that would break the menu found in Find. Obviously, the search form would be a direct, but not always an intuitive answer ... Users expect a “search” of, say, the entire site, or at least outside the current page, while / Cmd | Ctrl / -F the current page they are looking at ... With endless scrolling, the concept of a "page" is completely destroyed, not even dynamic content via XHR.
