ASP.NET 4.0 Application in the Application Pool 3.5

Question

The server has the .NET framework 4.0 installed, but the application pool is set to 3.5. Is there a way to get it to run app 4.0? I need this because my hosting provider takes too much time to make changes for me.

No, you can’t.

The pool can start broadcast on version 2 / 3.5 or 4. I can’t work on both. Now think that many websites can live under any pool. Thus, it is impossible for one site to work on 4, and the other on 3.5.
