Komodo Edit: how to update directory tree status

Question

I tried "Update Status" from the context menu, but this does not work for me. When I deleted or added files to the tree display directory, it does not display them in the directory tree until I close Komodo Editor and restart it. This is very bad.

Is there something I am missing? Hope someone can give me a hand.

Sometimes I get this problem. Sometimes a directory is changed, and then its status is updated and sometimes expanded.

A more reliable method is to change the root directory in the Places sidebar and then back to where you want to be.
