VMware Fusion 3.1 - Slow Windows Phone Emulator

I'm working on a new Windows Phone 7 project. Unfortunately, I only have access to an instance of VMware Fusion for Windows, from where I launch Visual Studio and the phone emulator.

My problem is that the phone emulator takes a lot of time (well, seconds) to display, for example, a keyboard for user input (when selecting TextBox).

I read here that the problem is related to starting the VM inside the virtual machine.

My question is: if there is a trick that helps me somehow speed it up?

Many thanks.

Greetings

I'm sorry to say this, but the best solution is probably "not running the emulator on a virtual machine." The emulator is officially supported only on a real physical machine.

In addition, you will need to maximize the resources available for the virtual machine.

You are lucky that you did not tear a hole in the space of space-time by running the emulator on the emulator :)
